In this episode of the Just DeW It podcast, Anne Duffy is joined by Dr. Aman Kaur. Dr. Kaur is the founder of Women in DSO®, an organization created to empower women in the DSO (Dental Service Organization) space and grow future women leaders of the industry.

Dr. Kaur explains how she started Women in DSO® because she was feeling frustrated with that fact that, although she saw women all around her in the dental industry, she never saw them in higher up or powerful positions. She explains how her goal is not to change the industry, but to make it more complete and well rounded.

Dr. Kaur and Anne talk about the difference between letting a problem define you vs changing the trajectory of your life by overcoming that obstacle and reaching for new opportunities. Dr. Kaur explains how she helps empower women, starting with the knowledge that in order to take care of others, you must take care of yourself first.
